Dear Friends,

As crazy as it sounds, we are now a little more than 50 days away from the conclusion of this campaign! Now is the time to turn up the heat on our prayers and faith… to believe that God is ready to do the impossible in and through us. In order to help maximize the upcoming season, we have created a fresh new way to get our hearts ready for all God wants to do: a Quest “family meeting,” entitled 2 Minute Warning: Countdown to a Miracle.

From the beginning, i2 wasn’t about a financial goal — it’s always been about people. Whether you helped launch i2 in May 2008 or are just now discovering the journey, you are invited to be a part of the “2 Minute Warning” for our entire church. Pastor Pete and the Lead Team are asking every Quester to attend a “2 Minute Warning” meeting to discover your place in one of the most important seasons in our church’s history. You’ll get to know other Questers, laugh hard and discover more about the essential role that i2 will play in the future of Quest Community Church.

The remaining 2 Minute Warning will be held on Sunday, April 1 @ 1:30pm (following the 11:30 service). Childcare will be provided and you can RSVP to this gathering at mhall@questcommunity.com. Please indicate how many members of your family will be coming and the number of children under 5 you will need childcare for.

The Mantor’s Story :We started coming to Quest in the summer of 2009 when we moved here from Illinois. Although we knew lots about church we saw a passion for Jesus in Questers that we never thought possible.

We both gave our lives to Christ that fall and we were instantly all in. We saw our marriage go from hopeless to thriving and we found healing and freedom at the MAT. We were undone at what Jesus was doing in our lives.

So, in May 2010, when we were given the opportunity to join i2 along with many other new families, it was an easy ‘yes.’ We were honored to be part of making room for more families like ours, who were searching, but didn’t know what for.

Jesus gave us a number that was stretching, but a plan that made it possible.

Things were going great and then, the following May, Garrett lost his job. Although he found another job just a few weeks later, it was without any overtime. Our heart was to complete our i2 commitment, but with several hundred dollars a week less in income, our plan hit a standstill.

And yet, in the midst of a crazy year, Jesus gave us the opportunity to audaciously step into the adventure of a lifetime as we moved our entire family to Frankfort to reach another city for Jesus – a campus made possible through generous i2 giving. Along the path, God has provided for our family lavishly all year. And not just financially. We’ve seen two of our four kids give their lives to Christ, we collectively led 18 people to Christ, and have both stepped into leadership on new levels.

We got our taxes done early this year, because we thought we might owe money, but committed to giving any refund to our i2 commitment. We were blown away to find we didn’t just get money back, but enough to PAY OFF our i2!  We can’t believe the life He lets us live. We are eager for all that God has for our family in 2012!
