I got the honor of helping park guests as they showed up for the Uprising. The volunteers cheered each car into the parking lot and really set the atmosphere for the love that would be evident all over the conference to come. As one pastor got out of his car, even before entering the building, he said, “I LOVE COMING TO QUEST!”. At lunch I ate with a group of three, including a pastor from a local church, that were already fired up about continuing the ‘shakeup’ in their nearby church. They had come the previous year & were encouraged and even more determined that reaching lost people would be at the forefront of their ministry, not just keeping the traditions. I loved seeing the unity in the body of Christ!

We started going to Quest in May 2009 and quickly realized that we wanted to make it our church home. We were so warmly welcomed! Throughout the past 18 months we have been encouraged and transformed through our experiences at Quest. We have encountered community through great friendships and Life Groups, growth through the teachings and serving opportunities, grace and healing at the Mat, and so much more. September of 2009 when Quest moved into the new auditorium we started hearing more about i2 and how we could still be a part of making room for more people. We have had such a life-changing year-and-a-half at Quest that we wanted to help make it possible for others to experience the same. We prayed about an amount, and agreed upon a "safe" amount. Then we realized that God was asking us to trust Him with more and act in faith. We felt God challenging us to double the figure, instead of settling on an amount that would not be a sacrifice. Knowing that God does not always provide monetarily when we give, we felt very blessed when we found checks we had missed in a stack of forgotten paperwork and recently Tim's job at UK transitioned from temporary to permament with a raise! We love that we get a chance to be a part of continuing to prepare a place for people to experience radical grace and extravagant love by giving through i2.
