Available Positions

Communications Coordinator

Do you have skills and creativity in marketing and communications?  The Communications Coordinator at Quest will develop and manage internal and external communication systems and marketing strategies.  We are looking for someone who is creative, organized, and has great people skills. This part-time position is 15 hours per week.

WE WANT YOU TO…

  • Provide thorough support and reporting related to job functions.
  • Adhere to all policies as outlined in the Quest Staff Handbook.
  • Maintains and updates all policies & procedures pertinant to the position.
  • Stewards any applicable budget and adheres to spending and expense policies.
  • Leads, evaluates and develops direct reports, volunteers, and teams under the leadership of this position.
  • Oversees special projects as directed by the direct supervisor.
  • Develop evangelism and discipleship opportunities inside and outside the church.

WE NEED SOMEONE WHO…

  • Leads communications systems for the entire church.
  • Develops and executes marketing and promotions strategy and calendar for church ministries.
  • Coordinates communication for internal and external ministries and events.

Job Requirements…

  • Education or Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. At least 2 years experience in communications, marketing or an equivalent field.
  • Required Knowledge:
    • Working knowledge or MS office, Adobe Creative Suite, advertising strategy and promotional planning tools.
  • Required Skills:
    • Excellent written and oral communication, creative, relationally intelligent, & organized.

Custodian

Currently all custodial positions are filled however, we will keep your application on file for future openings.

Do you have an eye for detail? Do you love making a space look great for new guest? Do you enjoy fixing and repairing things? If so this position could be great fit. We are looking for a Custodian who will care for and honor the facilities at Quest. This part-time position is 10 hours per week with possibilities of increased hours.

Sunday , Monday and Tuesday evenings.

  • General Cleaning, including but not limited to washing windows, vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, cleaning bathrooms
  • Light maintenance, including but not limited to changing light bulbs
  • Assist in setting up/tearing down meetings and events
  • Other duties as needed to clean and maintain the facility

Child Care Coordinator

WE NEED SOMEONE WHO…

  • Responsible in conjunction with KQ Volunteer Coordinator for recruiting and hiring qualified childcare staff.
  • Lead childcare staff to support and setup volunteers to succeed. (diaper changing, refill room supplies, set up rooms before services and clean up rooms after services, help volunteers know procedures.)
  • Send weekly staff schedules to staff and volunteer leaders.
  • Hold trainings to make sure staff is up to date on procedures.
  • Communicate with church staff to coordinate childcare for special events.
  • Calculate set costs for childcare for special events.
  • Manage childcare payments and deposits as necessary.
  • Develop relationships within staff team so that they understand their value to members and staff.
  • Responsible for age-appropriate care which includes: feeding, changing diapers, maintaining a safe environment, putting children down for naps, holding, sitting with, and cheerfully interacting volunteers and with children through games, stories, crafts and play.
  • Cleaning and sterilization of toys.
  • Polite, friendly, and courteous rapport with all children, parents, and volunteers.
  • Must be 18 years of age and have reliable transportation.
  • Must be happy, mature, and energetic with previous childcare experience.
  • Sunday-Thursday morning and evening shifts in addition to special events up to 10 hours per week.
