Of the 6.5 billion people who inhabit the Earth today, over 2.5 billion still do not have a sufficient number of wholehearted followers or local churches among them to permit them to hear about Jesus Christ and His offer of unconditional love, forgiveness, and leadership in their lives. The first ten QCC sponsored native missionaries, aka “Quest India Staff”, began in April 2009 and were joined by ten more who began in June 2010. Below is a summary of their work for 2010 along with just a few stories from among the multitudes of those who discovered Jesus Christ and now worship Him as their only Savior & Lord on account of their faithful work. We sure are proud of them and feel very privileged to pray for them and help financially support them!
This is the ministry report summary of Quest India Staff for 2010. It includes the first 10 (ten) Quest sponsored India Staff (evangelists and church planters) for the entire 2010 year and the second 10 (ten) Quest sponsored India Staff (evangelists and church planters) since they first began working among the unreached of West Bengal, India in June 2010.
Total number of times the Gospel was presented to people with an opportunity given to receive Jesus Christ as their only Lord & Savior: 13,211
Number of people who prayed to receive Jesus Christ as their only Lord & Savior: 2,348
Total cost to Quest to support these workers on the field for 2010 (90% support for one year for first ten staff who are finishing the first half of their second year and 100% support for past seven months for second ten staff who are just finishing the first half of their first year): $11,149.00
If QCC’s financial support for 2010 was split equally between 1)presenting the Gospel and giving people an opportunity to receive Jesus Christ as Lord & Savior and 2)actually leading someone to pray to receive Jesus as Lord & Savior, the cost would be as follows:
1)Cost to give a person the opportunity to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior: 42.2 cents per person!
2)Cost to lead a person to pray to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior: $2.38 per person!
Bengali is the sixth most spoken language in the world today (230,000,000 people), most of whom reside in West Bengal, India and the neighboring country of Bangladesh. The Bengalis are the largest, least evangelized people group in the world today!

My name is Pxxxxxx Hxxxxx. One day a person named Axxxx (Quest India Staff) was preaching from the Bible in the midst of many people. That period was a tough time because of the Hurricane Aaila. Many villagers had lost their lives and belongings because of the storm. During that time I saw that Axxxx helped many villagers to get drinking water, food, medicines and other necessary things. He was standing beside the villagers as if they were his own brothers and sisters. I was with him during that time. He also shared the word of Christ. I spent four days with him. I was a Hindu during that time but the lifestyle of Axxxx drastically changed my life. I decided to give my life to Jesus. Hence, I accepted Jesus as my Lord and took water baptism. After taking this step my life has been changed altogether. I am able to receive as well as enjoy the blessings of God in my daily life. I also got through an interview and will be getting employed soon. Kindly pray for me that I may be able to be faithful to my master till my last breath.
My name is Gxxxx Mxxxx. I took birth in a Bengali culture in the Hindu religion. I am 27 years old. I have completed my graduation in the department of Arts. In spite of my graduation I was not able to get an employment. As a result of this I started to spend my time with my village mates. I got involved in doing indecent acts, started to extort money in the name of religion and others. During this period a Christian fellowship started to nurture in our village. There a person (Quest India Staff) came to give teachings. I met him and he began to help me realize that idol worship is meaningless since it yields no fruit. Thus I started to attend the Bible study which took place in that fellowship. As days went by I became convinced that idol worship was meaningless. I came to believe & know that Jesus is the one and only true God. I understood and came to know that I am a sinner and have sinned against the true God. I left all my past habits and gave myself to Jesus. He blessed my decision. Within a few days I got employment in a high school. Really, he has blessed abundantly. He had made the impossible the possible! Now I have thrown away all the idols which were present in my house and worship the only true and living God.
My name is Pxxxx Gxxxxxxx. I came from a Hindu family and was devoted to my religion, its ritual and its activities. I always wanted to please my gods that nothing terrible might happen to me. I worshipped all the gods and goddesses of Hinduism. A couple of months back I came to a gathering which was held in the house of a Christian preacher. A word from their Holy book revived the spirit within me. That is ‘under heaven there is no other name through which man can achieve salvation’. I returned home and searched in all our holy books about redemption. To my horror there was no word like that. I was perplexed. What will happen to me when I die? My condition took me back to where I began. I returned back to the preacher. For one month he kept teaching me from the Bible about all the basic questions of my life. I came to know about sin and salvation in a better way. Salvation can be achieved through Jesus alone. By this time I had understood Jesus is the One. Hence on 20th October 2010, I accepted Jesus as my Lord. Now I am growing in the Lord daily by walking with Him. Kindly, pray for me that I may remain faithful to the truth till He comes.
I am Ixx Dxx and I am married to Pxxxxx Dxx. We were followers of Hinduism from our childhood. We belonged to the low caste of the Hindu religious system. I grew up among the walls and confines of the Hindu society and background and it left its effects on me. It happened by chance that I met Pastor Mxxxxx. He asked me four spiritual questions. The questions related to the Creator God. I told him I am eager to know more of Him. Taking the opportunity, he explained to me about the Creator God from the book named the Gospel of Matthew. The book contained seven lessons which he slowly helped me understand. He also revealed the truths which were hidden in the lessons. My heart was joyous when I came to know all these things. The death of Christ touched my heart deeply. He kept teaching me from different sections of the Bible. One major thing in Christianity which he taught was the resurrection of Jesus Christ. I returned back to my religious leaders and wanted to know if there is anything called resurrection in our own religion. To my amazement there was nothing like that sort. There are thousands and thousands of gods in Hinduism but no one had ever experienced it. This comparison showed me Jesus is above all other gods. I returned to the Pastor and asked Him how I can be His follower. He replied you need to confess all your sins to Him and accept Him as your Lord and Savior. I did that and the pastor showed me from Romans 6:23 that I got eternal life. I now have stopped doing all forms of idol worship. Now I serve the One True God with my being.
