Frankfort Campus Launches!

Frankfort Campus Launches!

The doors of Quest Community Church Frankfort opened on Dec 7th 2008 to welcome hundreds of people from the Frankfort area! Billy Fray (Campus Pastor) and the Launch Team, hosted over 400 people during the Grand Opening of our Frankfort Campus.

Cheers accompanied Lead Pastor Pete Hise’s video welcome to the Frankfort crowd during two services at 9:30 and 11:30am. Throughout the day, guests enjoyed Global Café coffee, perused the Source Bookstore, and families had a hard time getting kids to leave KidsQuest afterwards – just like a typical weekend in Lexington! But the most telling signs that the Frankfort campus truly is “one church in multiple locations” were the pockets of people in conversations, lingering in the auditorium after the services.

Frankfort also celebrated a “first” that took the original Lexington campus two months of prayer and waiting: the first people have given their lives to Christ! To date, three people have invited Jesus into their hearts at the Frankfort campus, becoming new pioneers in “transforming unconvinced people into wholehearted followers of Jesus.” The entire Quest staff and governing teams celebrate with each of these three as they step into a whole new life!

The Grand Opening of the Frankfort Campus represented three years of processing, planning, and preparation in getting Quest ready to go “multisite.” Services will continue on Sundays at 9:30 and 11:30am at 2250 Lawrenceburg Road.

Quest Named 44th Fastest-Growing Church in America!

Quest is named the 44th fastest-growing church in America!

We love the number 44. What’s behind that number?

Outreach magazine has ranked Quest Community Church 44th in a list of the 100 “Fastest-Growing Churches in America.” But … what does that really mean?

Give “44” a face. A story. A life.

No – make that thousands of lives.

We’re happy about the number 44, because it reflects what we’ve been about from the beginning: “transforming unconvinced people into wholehearted followers of Jesus.” Forty-four means that people are seeking and finding Him! Forty-four means that families are finding hope, people in their addictions are being set free and people who have never known the love and grace of God have finally discovered it.

We love the number 44, because it affirms to us that God’s plan to reach this broken world is the Church. In a time when the church in America is quickly losing ground, God has been faithful to grow this church at a rate that is defeating the odds and providing hope to other churches who long to make an impact.

Most importantly, forty-four means that Jesus is becoming more famous! Being named “44th Fastest-Growing Church” in the nation is less about Quest and more about Jesus becoming more known in the city of Lexington, across the United States … even around the entire planet.

Thank you, Questers, for putting your hearts out there and for being willing to become God’s instruments of hope and love to the people Jesus gave His life to rescue! And let’s thank God for allowing us to be part of this tremendous miracle taking place right here, right now.

It happened once. It’s happening again.
